Faith-rooted grief support for moms
But you don't have to be alone either. Honest, faith-rooted resources for the mom who is still finding her way through grief without the toxic positivity.
"Grief is not something to be fixed. It's love with nowhere to go."
Hey, I'm Rue
I didn't create Holding Onto Heaven because I had the answers. I created it because I was drowning in the questions and I couldn't find anything that held me without lying to me about how this ends. I spent years looking for resources that were honest, faith-rooted, and didn't rush me through the hard parts. When I couldn't find them, I wrote them.
This is that space. Raw. Real. Rooted in faith not the kind that pretends everything happens for a reason, but the kind that sits with you in the dark and doesn't let go.

"I didn't think anyone understood what I was carrying. This journal gave me the words I couldn't find on my own — and permission to still be in it."

Every resource, every word, every coaching call at Holding Onto Heaven is built on three things that I believe with everything I have.
Work with meThe grief that lives quietly inside a mom who has to keep going for everyone else. The kind that doesn't get a casserole. That grief is real and it belongs here.
Faith that doesn't paper over the pain with platitudes. The kind that says "I don't understand this" and stays anyway. That's what we hold onto here.
Healing is not the absence of grief. It is learning to breathe around it — slowly, imperfectly, with God holding the parts you can't carry alone.
1-on-1 grief coaching
Someone who has been there. Who won't hand you a silver lining or tell you how strong you are when all you need is to fall apart for a minute. That's what this space is for.
